We are searching for a talented and experienced verification engineer to become an integral part of our client's Enterprise Power R&D team. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of designers, chip architects, and systems engineers to develop leading edge high performance power management solutions for the computing market. The Division product portfolio focuses on achieving more and consuming less in the areas of Computing, Lighting, Charger, Mobile Devices, Cellular Infrastructure Sensing and includes Design and Development of Control ICs, Customized chips (ASICs), Discrete low-voltage and high-voltage power transistors, GPS low-noise amplifier, Low-voltage and high voltage driver ICs, MEMS and ASICs for silicon microphones, RF antenna switches, RF power transistors, TVS (transient voltage suppressor diode.

In your new role you will:
  • Perform verification of mixed signal designs utilizing the Cadenced Incisive Suite of tools:
    • Generate VerilogAMS/systemVerilog models and correlate results with schematic level performance
    • Generate simulation workbenches and interpret the results to verify compliance with system level requirements
    • Verification of DFT plan

Additional Responsibilities may include: 
  • RTL code generation for products with smaller digital footprints
  • Backend design on the Cadence Platform:
    • Synthesis
    • P&R with static timing analysis
    • Scan insertion, vector generation
    • Required skills:
    • BSEE/ME or equivalent with 3 years related experience
    • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso Tool Suite
      • Capable of creating schematics and generating netlist for simulation
      • Understanding the signal flow and boundaries between the analog and digital domains
      • Prior experience of compiling, elaborating, and running mixed-signal simulation
    • Good understanding of analog spectre simulation and associated modeling of analog circuit blocks 
    • Good debugging skills in both the analog and digital domains
    • Conversant in Verilog, VHDL, C, C++ and capable of generating scripts
    • Experience with DFT related topics such as: BIST, scan chains, etc.
    • Experience with lab test equipment such as oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies, etc.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and Unix/Linux shell commands and editors
    • Are highly motivated, innovative, and capable of driving tasks to a successful conclusion
    • Are very organized and detail oriented
