Power Management Systems Director
   RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a hands-on position with both managerial and individual contributor duties
  • Manage a small and growing team of engineers with the goal of developing innovative power IPs based on a configurable power platform.
  • Develop Power Management mixed solutions:
    • Control Algorithms for Power Converters
    • Sequencers, Fault Management Controls, etc.
    • Customer Specific Architecture
  • Help define development processes for:
    • Power Converters validation
    • Internal and external documentation
    • Hardware/Software interaction
  • System Specifications for next generation ICs.
  • Support the development of customer tools and documentation
  • Business development support:
    • Provide technical documentation
    • Advice on market
    • Screen and analyze opportunities and customer specs
    • Lead custom projects for key opportunities
  • Performance optimization
  • Customer support
   SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • BSEE, MSEE Preferred
  • 10+ years or PhD + 8 years in Power Electronics and Analog Circuits
  • Control algorithm development 
    ADDITIONAL SKILLS CONSIDERED A PLUS:
  • Digital Power
  • Verilog
  • Multi-phase controllers
  • Constant on Time controllers
  • FPGA
