In this position, you will be researching, designing and developing signal processing algorithms working closely with the team. In addition to defining the requirements necessary for the system architecture and hardware, you will be responsible for working with the firmware team to integrate the algorithms into hardware and evaluate system performance through simulation and test.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Analyze, design, develop and test DSP algorithms that are developed using Matlab or other tools, and implemented in firmware for medical device for real-time continuous glucose monitoring.
  • Algorithm development as well as signal processing framework architecture
  • Development of software and analysis toolset in a regulated environment
  • Hardware/software implementation collaboration
  • Matlab programming and analysis library development
  • Involvement in the full spectrum of product development (concept, design, implementation, test, production
  • Clinical Study Data Analysis and creation of summary numerical data for inclusion in clinical study reports
  • Exercise creative thinking and ideation to advance product portfolio and next generation system development
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of a MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering. PhD is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of related work experience in DSP algorithm development, additional experience is preferred. 
  • Candidates must have extensive knowledge of algorithm development for the statistical analysis of signal parameter measurements utilizing techniques from Detection & Estimation Theory, Multivariate Statistics, SAS software familiarity, and/or Machine Learning.
  • Candidates must also have extensive knowledge about Matlab with DSP, Communication, and related tool boxes.
